58 peaks in 21 years

Summit of Mount Sneffels

Summit of Mount Sneffels

As I wrote about in my essay Pushing the Limits at 14,000 Feet, I finally completed a [literally] life-long goal of mine last year:  I finished climbing Colorado’s 58 peaks above 14,000 feet.  The process began when I was merely seven years old, back when climbing all the 14ers wasn’t as popular as it is now, and back when the sub-peaks like Cameron and North Eolus weren’t really considered 14ers.  A lot has changed since then, and I’ve been lucky enough to see those changes first hand.  I was also fortunate to never get into any serious trouble in all those miles hiked, feet gained, streams crossed, storms avoided, and wildlife encountered.

The following is a brief summary of 21 years of mountaineering, set to a rockin’ song.  I hope you enjoy this little slideshow, and that it inspires you to get outside and accomplish goals you never dreamed would be possible!

The pushing the limiits blog is awesome as well. Dalton is totally soaking in the sunchine on Sunshine Peak.

  2. Hello! Fast dilemma that’s 100 % out issue.
Do you realize how to make a site cell hospitable? My site looks bizarre when surfing around from my mobile phone.
I’m trying to find a style or wordpress tool that might be able to handle this challenge. If you have any suggestions, please share.
    Many thanks.
